On Monday, December 17, 2012, Edward A. "Eddie" Stoesser, 56, passed away at his home in Columbia, MD. Eddie was born March 31, 1956 in Hackensack, NJ to Gloria (Naclerio) and Edward J. Stoesser. Eddie graduated from Becton High School in New Jersey, and lived in New Jersey until moving to Maryland in 1991. After moving to Maryland, he became employed by Giant Foods as a Customer Service Attendant. He was a favorite among the regular shoppers for his easy smile, helpful nature, and knowledge of and passion for his beloved New York Yankees.
Eddie is survived by his mother, Gloria Herrick, sisters Jean Spindler and her husband Henry, and Anne Coles and her husband Laurence, step sisters Maureen Luiser and her husband Jack and Debra Kalitan, step brothers Thomas Herrick and Steven Herrick and his wife Shannon, several nieces, nephews and other family and friends. In addition to his father, Eddie was predeceased by brothers Robert E. and Peter J. Stoesser, and Eddie's stepfather Thomas A. Herrick.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday December 19, 2012 at 1:30 P.M. at Columbia Memorial Park, 12005 Clarksville Pike Clarksville, Maryland.
