David Coppage, age 76, of Lakeside Park passed away Monday, October 7, 2013, at his residence. He was a former Partner of Coppage Construction, a U.S. Air Force Veteran, and a member of the Campbell County Game and Fish Club. Mr. Coppage was a pilot and enjoyed flying and especially spending time with his children and grandchildren. Survivors include his wife (of 53 years), Barbara Morris Coppage; daughters, Cara C. (Paul) Rigby and Amy C. (Michael) Dunn; son, David Joel (Kristin) Coppage; brothers, Gene (Jessie) Coppage and John Coppage; eleven grandchildren; and special friends, Max and Patti Montoya. Visitation will be Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 415 Park Avenue, Newport, KY 41071 Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. at the church. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to St. John’s United Church of Christ. Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence is assisting the family.
