ICE, Kurt D., 58, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013.

He was an Air Force Veteran. He enjoyed the horse races and loved to drive anywhere. Kurt was a people person and enjoyed church picnics where he would see old friends.

Kurt is survived by 2 sons, Lee and Jerry; his mother, Mary Ann Ice; 2 brothers, Mark (Chris) and Mikal (Wanda); and sister, Bobbi Thomas (John Kriete).

The family would like to thank all the staff at the VA, most especially 5 north and the hospice team, for their compassionate and loving care.

His service will be 7 pm Sunday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. Visitation will be Saturday 2-8pm and Sunday after 2pm until the service. Cremation was chosen.

In place of flowers, donations may be made to the hospice unit at the VA Hospital.
