Born March 21, 1923 in Mount Vernon, Washington, he was the son of the late Alfred and Elsie (Fields) Oldershaw. Peter was a graduate of the University of British Columbia and a veteran of the US Navy. In June of 1950, he married Marion Donkin, daughter of Dr. C.A. and Mrs. Florence Donkin, of Bridgewater, NS. After retiring, Peter and his wife Marion made their home in Seabright, where he enjoyed working in his woodshop. He was a superb wood craftsman, displaying his passion for model boats as a member of the Maritime Ship Modeler`s Guild. Marion and Eileen would particularly like to thank their neighbors on Camelot Drive for their love and support during this difficult time.
