Obituary for Kate Iwanyshyn (nee Bidney)
On February 21, 2014, Mrs. Kate Iwanyshyn of Edmonton, formerly of Spedden, passed away at the age of 92 years.
Kate is survived by five daughters, Joan (Elmer), Helen (Mike), Janet (Mel), Louise (Barry) and Rose; fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; sister, Doris; sister-in-law, Amy; and daughter-in-law, Olga. Predeceased by husband, Peter; son, Paul; grandson, Jason; son-in-law, Jim; six brothers and four sisters.
Funeral Service Wednesday, February 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 - 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Very Reverend Mihajlo Planchak officiating with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, NWT & Nunavut, 10985-124 Street, Edmonton, AB T5M 0H9 or a charity of one’s choice.
