Dr. Anderton was an inspirational professor who will be deeply missed at NMU and throughout the Marquette community. I am a graduate in Physical Geography with an Earth Science minor, having had quite a few classes with Dr. A. He was a personable, light-hearted, and deeply passionate teacher who always managed to find the time and care amid his busy schedule to talk with his students. A great guide and inspiration! My deepest sympathies to his children, family and close friends! Know that his Spirit lives on through all the lives he has touched. Thank you Dr. A! Love and Peace
