Condolence: R.I.P. Ms. Dixie, who taught me at Northside High School. She was one classy lady and a caring, spirited teacher who made learning fun! I'll never forget being invited to her home with several other classmates and her whipping up some banana fritters for us to snack on. She touched many lives and left a positive impression on everyone. Condolences to her family. May it ease their heartache of their loss to know she is now pain-free and dancing in heaven.

Condolence: Angie, praying for God's Peace for you and family. Dixie was such a dear friend and I have so many good memories, going out to eat with her and Howard, her crosses that she loved to crochet and give to others including my friends. Have had a friend to tell me how much it means to her now. The smile she always had even though filled with pain. She talked with me about being with the Lord. She was indeed such a special friend. Wish we had made it down.

Condolence: RIP, "Mrs. Linkhart", as we knew her at Northside High School in the 60's. I had her as a teacher for accounting and typing and enjoyed her classes tremendously. I remember most her gracious smile and her "backless" high heel shoes!! She was a delightful and wonderful teacher. My heartfelt sympathy, condolences and prayers go out to all of her family!

Condolence: I loved Ms. Dixie! She was so friendly and joyful. Her smile was endearing and her laughter was contagious. She always had a funny story to tell, mainly about her kids which she loved dearly. She always had a swing in her step. How I missed her jiving steps as disease racked her body. Even in her pain she was delightful to visit with. We would hold hands and talk about the love of Jesus Christ. She would talk about the day she would be with Him in heaven free of the pain she was enduring. That day has come and I can just see Ms. Dixie swing stepping her way down the golden streets singing joyfully to the God who conquered death for her. What a blessed day indeed!
But for us who remain, I know sorrow and sadness are part of the process. But rest assured that Jesus Christ provides peace in the heart and now He has MS. Dixie there begging Him to send it down in abundance. Blessings and sweet memories to all who loved our little dancer, Ms. Dixie!
