Condolence: We understand your pain. We lost our 12 year old daughter 18 years ago. Right after that, we joined a group in Dubuque called The Compassionate Friends. It is a support group for parents that have lost children. This is a very difficult time, but in time, the pain will ease & you will be able to move on. You will never be the person you were before your child died, but you will learn how to live again without them.

I am now the chapter leader of our Dubuque chapter of The Compassionate Friends. I invite you to come to a meeting when you are ready. It is nice because all the other people there have also lost children & can understand the pain you are suffering.

Feel free to contact me & I will be sending some information on our group to you.

My husband & I send prayers & hugs at this difficult time. Hang in there & keep talking about your kids. It will help you to cope.
