Condolences

Condolence From: Rose Marie Proctor
Condolence: I offer many prayers of thankfulness for all Firefighter Gunther did for all of us each time he claimed into that truck. One not to very long ago Mr. Gunther was kind enough to take a few minutes with my 9 year old granddaughter - who very much want to be a firefighter. He showed her the truck, gave her a badge; and told her to never lose sight of her dream. I know that you - his family and his larger community family are already of what a difference he made in his dash from birth to death - but there is one little girl who will always hear his words of 'never lose sight of your dream'. Thanks for sharing him with the community at large; and know he will always be only a thought and a prayer away. Remain Blessed...

Condolence: I was one of Tim's room mates in college for 3 years, and he was one of the kindest, most sincere people I have ever met. He was unique: he had the Strength of a Giant, the Heart of a Hero, and the Soul of a Poet. He will be deeply missed.

Condolence From: Tim and Sharon
Condolence: A good man all around. We can still remember going to Skippers back in the day, the place you owned, and having some of the best times of our young lives there. That was largely due to you, Tim, and your view of what made people happy. Whenever we hear Van Morrison or Billy Joel (that jukebox!), your memory jumps into our minds, and it's a wonderful thing. Your service to others throughout your life will never be forgotten. Our best to the Gunther family during this difficult time. And from one track athlete to another, Tim, Godspeed.

Condolence From: The Eric Levin family
Condolence: It is with the heaviest of hearts that we send our deepest sympathy to Timbo's family for the loss of a great Father, Husband, and Partner... There wasn't a day that went by without Timbo making a difference in someone's life... Whether it was heading up the daily chores list in the firehouse, to taking charge of our fundraising... Tim gave you a run for your money everyday- sometimes in JEOPARDY, sometimes about politics and sometimes just about sports... He gave us 100% and still found time to give that same 100% to his family and the community... We miss you and love you, Eric, Brenda, Jessica, and Brianne

Condolence From: Steve Close
Condolence: Why does it often seem like the good people are taken too soon? The first time I met Tim, he was a skinny high school kid with an ever-present smile. The last time I saw him was at a John Jay reunion...the huge smile was still there but now accented with his trademark moustache. The Hudson Valley, from Hopewell to Poughkeepsie and beyond, has lost a good man.
