Goudy, William George, peacefully at his home at Watford Quality Care in his 98th year. 

Married to Elda, they began their family of Mary (Jim) and Ron (Shirley) in the Meaford area.
A young man, George continued to work in sales, selling at auctions, furniture and vehicle sales, and in 1972 he married Margaret who passed away in 1997. Late in life George met Johanna whom he married in 2003. After living in Sarnia and Northville, they ended up in Watford Quality Care together. George is survived by 5 step children and predeceased by 1 step child. Also survived by many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren. Also missed by many nieces and nephews. Dear brother of John and Alex, predeceased by siblings Myrtle, Margaret and Walter. 

With an eye for a deal, George shared his love of music and pianos. For years George restored and re sold pianos of all shapes and sizes to their previous glory.

A visitation in memory of George will take place at Gilpin Funeral Chapel, 123 King St., Forest on Saturday, October 28th from 1pm-2pm, followed by a service at 2pm Celebrating the life and legacy of George. Special thanks to the staff at Watford Quality Care for the care and friendship they gave to George.

Donations may be made in George's name the Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the charity of your choice.
