Dear Paul, Andrew ad Phillip,
Please accept our deepest sympathy for the loss of your Father.
We both worked for Bill in the '70s at Ernst & Young. We always were treated fairly by Bill and were encouraged along the way. After busy season was over your Mother and Father always had a dinner party at their home so Bill could properly thank all of us who woked on his jobs. Bill was the only partner that did this and it was so appreciated by all of his staff. He always wanted us to know how much he appreciated us. Of course, with your Mother in charge of the dinner party there was always some excitement like the time the oven door fell off or the time there was a small fire in the kitchen. Your Father never panicked and always took it in stride.
In 1974 we became down the street neighbors of your parents. We will aways remember the March day we moved in. Bill came walking down street with his arms full of firewood along with, we believe, you Paul with your arms full of wood. Bill waned to make sure we could have a fire the first night in the fireplace of our new home. Your parents were grand neighbrs to us making sure we met other folks in the neighborhood.
We both learned a lot about the audit and CPA world from Bill and our careers were certainly enhaced by association with him.
