I had the privilege of working with Max at the Abilene Preservation League. Max was always friendly and helpful and professional. It was clear that his integrity stemmed from a high calling and a commitment of faith. Our informal conversation almost always reflected his love of family and friends. My prayers go out now on behalf of his wife, Sheryl, and his children and extended family.
