Venson Earl Jordan, 48, of Stephenville, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016 at his home in Stephenville.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Stephenville with Rev. Shannon Grubbs officiating. Interment will follow at the Oak Dale Cemetery in Erath County. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Venson was born on April 25, 1967 in Stephenville, to the late James Jordan and Linda Pack. He married the love of his life, Cheryl Brown on March 15, 2008 in Las Vegas. Venson resided in Stephenville all of his life, graduating from Stephenville High School class of 1985. He was a member of the Stephenville First Christian Church, and worked for many years at Fibergrate, Schrieber foods, and for Ed Jordan painting before his long battle with ALS.

Survivors include his wife Cheryl Jordan of Stephenville; sons, James Jordan and Bo Jordan of Stephenville; daughter, Gennifer McCoy of Stephenville; stepchildren, Breann Lipham and Damon Crabb of Stephenville; brothers, Ed Jordan of Stephenville, and Cody Jordan of Albany; sister, Paula Young of Georgetown; and many other loving relatives and friends.
