Mrs. Hazel Marie Johnson, age 83 of Winnsboro, passed away on Thursday, February 4th, 2016 in Winnsboro. She was born on December 21st, 1932 in Anderson County to the late James and Tamp Holcomb. She was a School Secretary for the Plaquemines Parish School District in Louisiana, and later the Winnsboro ISD Tax Secretary; she was also a member of First Baptist Church of Winnsboro. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Peggy Johnson Rousselle; sister, Evelyn Sholden; brother, James Holcomb; and three infant grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of sixty-four years, Lecil Conard Johnson of Winnsboro; daughters, Jennifer Kennair and husband Don of Belle Chasse, LA., Connie Howie and husband Glen of Crowley, LA., brother, Nolen Holcomb and wife Suzi of Stephenville, TX., seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 6th, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro; Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, February 7th, 2016 at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro at 2:00 P.M.; Dr. David Rose conducting, interment will follow at Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro.
