Jack could do anything. He was a founding member of Ascension Church in Melbourne, and was to one to call whenever anything needed to be fixed, built, or modified. He did it all. And they called him often.

Jack & Kathryn 91999) raised 8 children. All are successful adults with most of them living within 20 miles of their father. In order to raise 8 children Jack frogged, fished, ran an automotive garage and worked at both KSC and a cement plant.

Jack remarried in August of 2000. He had a wonderful time over the next 15 years. He and Ann traveled all over the United States. Their last trip was in October of 2015. They went to Oregon to be at the wedding of Jack' youngest granddaughter, Denise Green.

He was more than ready to go to his maker as he expressed this wish several times in the last 3 months.
