Obituary for Alec Michael Eskiw

Alec Eskiw passed away surrounded by his immediate family. He left us far too soon. We love him and we will miss him; his laugh, cheer, wonderful sense of humour and his infinite ability to make everyone feel welcome and cherished like an old friend. He was a big-hearted man, kind and generous with a heart of gold.
Alec is survived by his best friend and companion of 30 years, Marge; three brothers, Peter (Marie), Nick (Della) and Joe (Millie); two sisters, Eva and Marie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother, Annie in 1995; brother, Russell in 2001; father, Mike in 2002; and brother-in-law, Walter in 2007.
Many thanks to the Palliative Care Unit at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital. Special thanks to Dr. Pablo Amigo and the nursing staff for all their care that was provided to Alec and our family.
Funeral Service Thursday, April 28 at 11:00 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Right Reverend Alexandre Palamarchuk officiating with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
