The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Carmen Joan Bartolo can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Carmen was one of the most warm and loving mom's I've ever met. She opened her home to many of her son's friends. Growing up having this safe place to live, love and learn was truly special. I will always remember your smile, laugh and love. Carmen I am truly blessed having you in my life. Love always,

Condolence: What a shock to see your mother's obituary on line in Oshawa. Adrian, Brian, Pat and Ian ~ you were blessed to have such a warm, caring, loving, proud mom as Carmen was. She was so involved in your education and was always smiling when she boosted the enrollment at St. Gertrude. We all loved her and all of you. She radiated joy. Remember that smile and laughter as all of us who knew her will. My sincere sympathy to your dad and all the Vella/Bartolo families. With fond remembrances and prayers.

Condolence: So sorry to hear the passing of my 2nd Mom. Carmen was so good to me growing up, going to the house after school with her sons Adrian, Brian, Pat & Ian. Feeding bread, yes bread, that was the go to snack at the Bartolo`s. I think Joe her husband had to work overtime just to have bread in the house for Mom`s Kids,LOL. I`ll miss her laugh most of, it was so infectous. Rest in peace Mom, I Love You.
