I am so sorry to read of Marie's passing. I met her when she volunteered as an usher for the Great Aunt Stella Center in 1998. From there, I saw her many times at the Shepherd Center South's Adventures in Learning classes and at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center's many locations as an usher. When she worked part-time at Harris Teeter demonstrating products, we would get into long conversations and I would always leave with a smile. She brought her upbeat spirit and light wherever she was..she was always smiling. I am blessed to have known her. Prayers go out to the family.
