Mrs. Sara Hooker, age 79 of Yantis, passed away on Wednesday, August 30th, 2017 in Sulphur Springs. She was born on October 30th, 1937 in Mineola to the late Robert Warren and Lila Baker Warren. She was a retired insurance agent a member of Lake Fork Baptist Church and volunteered at Rains County Good Samaritan since 2005. She was preceded in death by parents, sisters, Julie Hamilton, Mary Jo Cain and brother, Robert Warren.
She is survived by her husband, William Hooker of Yantis; son, David Warren Hooker of Yantis; sister, Lila Lee of Mesquite; two grandchildren, Sara L. Hooker of Tyler and David W. Hooker of Tyler..
A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 2nd, 2017 at Beaty Funeral Home 5396 S. State Hwy. 37 Mineola, TX 75773 at 3:00 pm, Bro. John Pollard conducting.
