Kenneth W.  Moad
Mr. Kenneth Moad, age 89, was lead by Jesus on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2016 to his permanent home, peacefully he went with Him that morning. He was born on August 8th, 1926 in Lubbock, TX, one of ten children to the late J.W. Moad and Beulah Marton Moad. He was retired from the pharmacy industry and was preceded in death by parents. After working many years in Ft. Worth as a buyer for Skillern Drugs, he decided to make a move to 'God's Country'. He resided for 34 years here where he enjoyed gardening and farming. Spending most of his life caring for others including serving our country during WWII, made him the special man that he was. All that knew him loved and appreciated him for who he was. He is survived by devoted wife, Gerry Allen Moad of Gilmer; sons, Dennis Moad of Ft. Worth, Danny Moad and wife Devonna of Ft. Worth, Michael Peterson of Irving, James Peterson and wife Melinda of Mt. Vernon and Jerry Sinkey of Mt. Pleasant; daughters, Denise Warren of Ft. Worth and Charlotte Smith and husband Buddie of Grand Prairie; brothers, Davy Lee Moad and Johnny Don Moad; sisters, Mollie Ballengee and Doris Dworkin; brother-in-law, Ray Allen and sister-in-law, Jean Moad; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren; all who he loved dearly along with countless other family members, neighbors, and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 6th, 2016 at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494 at 11:00 am, with Bro. Timothy Allen conducting, interment will follow at Maple Springs Cemetery in Winnsboro, with Beaty Funeral Home Staff serving as pallbearers.
