Obituary for de Peuter Duncan
On Friday, September 23rd, after a short illness, the Lord chose to receive the love of my life into his arms. Duncan was my first and only love of 30 years, 9 months and 17 days - yes, every moment weighed and measured, valued and precious.
He was an amazing father to Jacob, Jonah and Grace who will desperately miss their Dad as they grow into adulthood, with the dreams and aspirations that Duncan so encouraged.
Duncan's heart was genuinely warm and unabashedly giving and yet it was his heart that ultimately weakened and failed with illness, despite his strong spirit.
Even though the miles may separate family, we find strength and comfort in your support and prayers.
We do not understand God's plan at this time but we place our trust and faith in Him.
In the coming days, we will be providing the details of Duncan's funeral service and celebration of life.
We ask that you continue to pray for us in this tenuous time that links our beloved Duncan's death with our saddened but determined continuation of life.
