Maxine Rae Quall, 87, a 57-year Wenatchee resident, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, September 25, 2016, following an extended illness.
She was born to Frank and Ida Lesky of Wisconsin on December 26, 1928 in LaCross, Wisconsin. She was raised and schooled in Wisconsin in the LaCross and French Island areas. She met Loring Bruce Quall and they were later married on October 9, 1948 in LaCross. They Later moved out west, where Loring was employed working on the Columbia River Dam projects and made their home in Wenatchee in 1959.
Maxine was a stay at home mom for their five children, Rhonda, Rick, Ronald, Teri and Tamera. When the kids started school, she worked during the school year months and then worked full time and retired from Tree Top in the mid 1990’s. She especially enjoyed having coffee and conversations with family, friends and neighbors. Maxine also enjoyed her retirement and traveled to Boston and Wisconsin visiting family and friends.
Maxine is survived by her children, Rhonda Brassfield, Rick Quall and Teri Quall all of Wenatchee; sisters, Arlene Cox and Geraldine Koszczewski and three grandchildren, Kam Brassfield, Kacie Brassfield and Aron Schott.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Loring in 1999; son, Ronald Quall; daughter, Tamara Schott and brother, Carl Lesky.
It is with love and appreciation of her kind spirit that we part with our beloved mother and grandmother. We will miss her always, and she will forever be in our hearts.
