At Orangeville Hospital on October 16, 2016, Arthur Ross Billard, of Shelburne, passed quietly surrounded by his family. He was born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, the only son of Edwin and Cedella. As a young man, Art played Junior Hockey in Moncton, New Brunswick, until a shoulder injury caused him to change direction. When he decided commercial fishing was not for him, Art moved to Fort McMurray where he became a Carpenter. In Alberta, Art met and married his wife, Patricia (nee Fluney) with whom he has two sons, Scott (Jessica) and Mark (Christine, wife). He will be forever missed.
