Sierra Renee Johns, age 25, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 3, 2016, at the Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Most recently she has been living in Pittsburgh and formerly she resided in Brookville, PA. Sierra was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on May 4, 1991, the daughter of Howard Eugene Johns Jr., and Melissa Lynn Ohls. After her time spent at Brookville High School she was able to obtain the status of Certified Nursing Assistant. Shortly after, she became a mother, and her priorities changed as she took on the responsibility of raising her daughter; she then became a stay at home mom. Sierra had many interests and she excelled with artistic capabilities; she would create drawings but most especially liked taking pictures. She liked many different animals, but she loved horses. Sierra was very close to her grandmother Mary Ohls; Mary recently passed away and Sierra took this news very hard. Some things that she would do to cheer herself up were playing with her children, taking walks, and cleaning; she was obsessed with having a clean home and she was an excellent organizer. She loved all of her family, and they all feel the void that her untimely passing has left. She will be remembered happily for many years to come. In addition to her parents, Sierra is survived by 2 daughters; Asia Rain Young and Malina Markell Borio; her fiancé, Mark Borio; 4 sisters; Cheyenne Johns, Allana Williams, Alyssa Williams, Maleah Williams; 1 brother; Iszek Johns; her grandfather, Howard (Patty) Johns; and her grandmother; Janice (Jack) Barrett. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, from 3 - 7pm, at the McKinney - d'Argy Funeral Home, ltd, 345 Main St., Brookville, PA, 15825. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, also at the funeral home, beginning at 11:00am.
