Willie (Bill) Colbourne

Bill peacefully passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital on Saturday, December 17th, 2016 at 79 years of age.

He leaves his wife Pat of 56 years, daughters Melaney McFadden (Paul) and Shannon Rudy, grandson Daniel Rudy and fiancée Jessica Dionne, granddaughters Madison and Breanna McFadden, sisters Edna (Pat), Bernice (Leighton), Mabel (Norman), Mary (Garf) and sister in law Betty of Newfoundland.

Predeceased by his parents, brother Ernest, and two brothers in infancy.
His careers with the Military, U of M and City Hall brought him great satisfaction.
Special thanks to the staff at the Asper Center for their compassionate care.
A service will be held in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Manitoba Special Olympics.

Bill was very proud of his Newfoundland heritage. He always said, “You can tell a Newfie, but you can’t tell ‘em much!”
