Life Story for Marjorie E. Hamilton

Marjorie E.  Hamilton
Marjorie E. Hamilton, age 92 of Lawrenceville, Illinois and formerly of Madison, passed away Monday, December 26, 2016 at the United Methodist Village-South Campus in Lawrenceville. She was born in the Madison area on August 28, 1924, the daughter of Rubert and Grace (Johnson) Conover.

Mrs. Hamilton married King Hamilton on February 13, 1942. She was a loving homemaker to her family and worked at the Madison State Hospital for over 20 years. While living in Lawrenceville, she attended the Hi-Way Church of God when she was able.

She will be sadly missed by two daughters: Freda O’Brien and her husband, Paul of Fritchton, Indiana and Diana Hamilton of Arkansas: two sons: Steve Hamilton of Arizona and Forest Hamilton and his wife, Joy of Milton, Kentucky: one brother; one siste; ten grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband, three children: stillborn twins and John Hamilton, one granddaughter, LaDonna Heacock, and six siblings.

Reverend Robert Leach will conduct funeral services at 11:00 AM Saturday December 31, 2016 at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Main Street Chapel, 423 West Main Street, Madison, with interment to follow at the Dupont Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather from 5:00 till 8:00 PM Friday, December 30, 2016 and from 10:00 AM until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
