Condolence: I remember Mary as a wonderful neighbor/family friend when I used to visit my Aunt's house next door in Reading. She very kindly let my husband stay over in her house on the way to a hockey training camp in 1989, just before my first daughter was born (there was no room at my aunt's house, for some reason). What a lovely lady!

Condolence From: Joan Eltonhead Bromley
Condolence: My 2 sisters, Betsey Eltonhead in Concord, MA and Susan Eltonhead Coloma in Honolulu, Hawaii, and I were very saddened to hear about Mary's passing. We were her next door neighbors on the hill in Stony Creek from 1961, when we first moved to Reading. Growing up, we used to take turns with who was making Thanksgiving dinner that year. When I got married she came to the wedding. When I had my daughter Elizabeth, Mary made her smocked dresses when she was a baby and a toddler. We remember her fondly with love and will miss her.
