Elberon, VA

Debbie Pratt, 62, lost her battle with cancer on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at her home in Elberon.

Born in Newport News, Virginia, Debbie was the daughter of Carolyn Blume and the late Kenneth Blume. She had lived in Surry County for 9 years. Debbie was General Manager of Hampton Roads Wholesalers for many years. Her greatest love was her volunteer work for the Virginia German Shepherd Rescue. Her love and devotion for this breed will be long remembered.

Survivors include her mother, Carolyn; her sister, Kathi Evans and her husband Allen; two nephews and her life partner, Gary Floyd.

A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at 2pm in Colonial Funeral Home. Family and friends will visit following the service. Burial private.
