86, of Hubbards, passed away on Sunday January 15, 2017 in the QEII Health Sciences Center, Halifax. Born in Martins Point she was the daughter of the late Newton and Beatrice Mosher. Nora will be remembered fondly by her family and friends as a loving and caring mother and grandmother and a good friend to many. She enjoyed playing cards and was a long standing member of the former IOOF mu also the Hubbards Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and worked many years at the Shore Club in Hubbards. Survived by her son, Graham (Barbara), Halifax; daughters, Carol Blyth, Sackville; Sandra Dennis, Chester; brother, Piercy Mosher, Indian Point; five grandchildren and a several great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Cyril; brothers, Maxwell and George; sister, Doris “Sis” Rafuse, Jean Cook and Una Beaver. .In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a Nova Scotia Kidney Foundation or Charity of Choice.
