Obituary for Nancy Wheeler
Nancy Jane Wheeler, 63 of Greensboro, NC, formerly of Long Branch, NJ, died on January 24, 2017 at Beacon Place Hospice in Greensboro. Born in Newark, NJ, she had lived in Long Branch before moving to Greensboro 10 years ago. Nancy was a Certified Nurse Aide at Monmouth Care Center in Long Branch.
She was predeceased by her parents, Phillip and Clyde Mae Wheeler and 2 sisters, Murlene and Ruby Wheeler. Surviving are her 2 sons, James Thomas, Jr. and Darrel Wheeler and his wife Jacquelyne; 3 daughters, Yaruba Wheeler-Crawford and her Husband Ephisian, Aymina Wheeler-Clarke and her husband Trevor, Lakyma Wheeler and; 3 brothers, Ben Wright and his wife Sarah, Phillip Wheeler and Clinton Wheeler; 3 sisters, Pamela Walley and her husband Tyrone, Betty Wedner and her husband Ernest and Phyllis Wheeler; 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 3 from 11 am until the time of the service at 12 noon at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave, Long Branch. Interment will follow at White Ridge Cemetery, Eatontown. The family will accept donations or memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family invites you to leave a letter of condolence, light a memorial candle or make a memorial donation by selecting the appropriate tab.
