Joe Jack Mills, age 80 of Winnsboro, passed away on Tuesday, January 31st, 2017 in Winnsboro. He was born on February 2nd, 1936 in Winnsboro to the late W.A. Mills and Dovie A. Holmes Mills Nichols. He worked as a Truck Driver for more than 40 years, and was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Marita Mills Thomason. He is survived by his daughter, Jackie Marks of Winnsboro; son, Terry Mills of Dallas; sister, Lois Tucker and husband Fendley of Tyler; four grandchildren, Matt Thomason, Keith Thomason, Billy Joe Smith, and Kenneth Smith. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 3rd, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro, funeral Services will immediately follow at 2:00 pm, Bro. Fred Morrow officiating, interment will follow at Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro.
