Jack Sutherland, 82, of Andrews passed away on Friday, February 3,2017 in Andrews.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at 2:00 PM Monday, February 6, 2017 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kevin Covington officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews West Cemetery under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 5, from 5 to 7 PM at McNett Funeral Home. Jack was born on September 3, 1934 in Haleyville, Alabama to Wyatt and Callie Cook Sutherland. Jack married Lucille Ward in April 1955 in Haleyville, Alabama. Lucille passed away on February 15, 1986. He married Louise Little in November of 1986, Louise passed away in November 1998. Jack was an electrician for 55 years before retirement. He loved to play pool and enjoyed roller skating. Jack had a passion for solar lights, he had them everywhere, he also loved bobble head figures, his truck was filled with them. Jack liked county music which he listened to all the time. He was preceded in death by his wives, two sons; Danny in 1972 and Tommy in 2001; seven brothers and three sisters.

He survived by two daughters, Donna and husband Mike Pearson of Andrews, Marsha Cook of Gardendale, Ken Cook of Gardendale, a special friend, Georgie Wickwire of Odessa, seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
