His remains will lie in state 5-8pm Friday, February 10, 2017 at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 10am until the 12pm funeral hour at the Vision of Faith Ministries, 463 Bayshore Avenue, Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in the Mobile Memorial Gardens, Mobile, AL.

Life Story for Aaron Derrell Owens Jr.

Born to Aaron, Sr. and Yolanda Owens on September 14, 2004, Aaron Derrell Owens Jr.; affectionately known as “AJ” time for eternity on Friday, February 3, 2017.

AJ confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Word of God Church in Mobile, AL. He was a fellow seventh grader at Bernice Causey Middle School, and was an outstanding athlete with the West Mobile Buccaneers and Hillsdale Mustangs. AJ lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed playing sports, eating popcorn, spending time with his family and friends, dancing, being silly, but most of all playing his PS4. AJ had a way of lighting up a room with his charm and radiant smile.
