Welcome to the Smith Funeral Home

The Smith Funeral Home was established as the J. Donald Smith Funeral Home in 1955 by J. Donald Smith in Chadwicks. It operated there until 1970 when it moved to its present facility at 3022 Oneida Street in Sauquoit. In 1976, Donald’s son, David, joined the firm and in 1998 the business was purchased by David and his wife, Lori. In 2019, Smith Funeral Home affiliated with Dimbleby Funeral Homes, Inc, a family owned four generation firm. 

The combined resources of Smith and Dimbleby funeral homes will ensure that your family’s wishes will continue to be met.

My deepest condolences to my David, Denise, Dianne, their families, and my Aunt Donna. I was so saddened to hear of Uncle David's untimely passing. Although our lives have taken us in far directions, some of my fondest childhood memories are of the dairy farm and playing with you all at Meme's house in Princeton. We had the best time at the kid's table for holidays and Uncle David is remembered as kind, funny, and sweet. May peace be with you to comfort you in your grief.
