Robert P. Burns, 88, of Lake Forest, died February 13, 2017. Bob was born March 18, 1928 to Michael and Helen (Emmering) Burns. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patricia; children; Kathleen Burns, MIchael (Sally) Burns, Maryellen Burns (Jeffrey Ernst), John Burns, Maureen (Jim) Walsh, Colleen (Tim) Sheerer, Robert (Jennifer) Burns; grandchildren, Katie, Maggie, Molly, Kelly, Johnny, Patrick, Nate, and Billy. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Ellie. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 pm on Friday, February 17 at Wenban Funeral Home, 320 Vine Ave, Lake Forest. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, February 18 at The Church of St. Mary,175 E Illinois Ave, Lake Forest. Burial will take place at St Mary's Cemetery, Lake Forest.
