The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Josephine Romanello can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Patti Romanello
Condolence: Peppy,

It's been a year since you passed away and I am still thinking about how you effected my life.

Yes, you were tough about a lot of subjects and sometimes I was upset or even mad at you. But there is no question that you had a fierce devotion and love for your family and wanted the best for everyone.

You did your very best in difficult circumstances to give your family hope to achieve the very best they could attain.

I married your son Dan who is now a Deacon in the Catholic Church. This is after being quite successful in business, but I have to say I am most proud of him in his diaconate life.
He is my rock and always challenges me to be a better person than I was yesterday.

Thank you and your sweet husband Donato V for creating this human being who I love with all of my heart. You created him and helped him to be who he is.
My love to you, "Grampa", and all the Romanello and Catalano's up there. We miss you and love you all.

Condolence From: Deacon Dan Romanello
Condolence: Patti and I offer our sincere thanks to all who honored Josephine "Peppy" Romanello by attending her funeral services. She was a very special person - wife, mom, aunt, mother-in-law and grandmother who deeply touched many people's lives.

Peppy dedicated herself completely to family and was the epitome of loyalty - she remained constant in her devotion to loved ones no matter the circumstances. Peppy also was a vocal champion for the underdog - she fervently prayed that this world would care more for the less fortunate in our society.

Peppy now lives on in our hearts - may the love that she so unselfishly shared with us inform our lives going forward, and may her love and respect of family permeate our lives.

Condolence: Dan & Patti and Romanello families,

My deepest sympathy for the loss of Josephine. At peace now, but her legacy lives on with her families. There may be loss of life, but there is never a loss of love. Christ's peace, love and blessings with you.
