Obituary for John F. "Jack" Goddard
John F. Goddard “Jack”, 87, a lifelong resident of Annapolis and Eastport, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
John was born on March 8, 1929 in Annapolis, MD to the late Ernest and Marie Goddard. He served his country in the US Army and in the Army National Guard, 29th Division. John served the city of Annapolis as a police officer, until he retired in 1970. He was a member of the Annapolis Elks and Moose Lodge. His interests included hunting and fishing.
John is survived by his wife of 66 years, Frances C. Goddard, his son, Michael Lee Goddard of Annapolis and his two grandchildren; Kimberly Ann Goddard of Annapolis and Ashley Minnick of Pasadena.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 11am at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, 1911 Forest Drive, Annapolis, MD. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 5216, Glen Allen, Virginia 23058-5216. Online condolences may be made at: www.kalasfuneralhomes.com
