Lowell “Bud” Straight, 91, of Greeley, passed away at his residence on 2/28/2017. He was born to Dan and Nellie (Canfield) Straight on 3/4/1925 in Greeley, Colorado.

Lowell joined the Army after high school on 07/29/1944 and served in WWII. He was honorably discharged from the Army on 03/05/1946. Lowell Married Dorothy (Reeve) Straight on 11/14/1948 in La Salle, Colorado. Lowell loved to buy/sell cattle, travel and gambling.

Lowell is survived by his wife Dorothy; children, Lowell Jay (Doreen) Straight and Janice (Roger) Teter; Grandchildren, Amy (Brett) Ledford, Cody (Raeanne) Meeker, Mandy and Morgan Straight; five Great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Lowell was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, 2 sisters and a great grandchild.
