Obituary for William Wagner

William (Bill) passed February 27 in Cooperstown, NY at age 60, he was born Oct, 1, 1956 in United Hospital, Port Chester, NY to Ruth and Norman Wagner, the family moved to Byram in the early 60’s. Bill attended Greenwich public schools and graduated from Greenwich High School. He moved to Florida for several years after graduation and then to the place he loved The Catskill Region of NY. He truly enjoyed the mountains and open country and enjoyed making it his home. He was a self-employed HVAC and refrigeration technician who also loved to do his own auto repairs, those who knew him saw some of his many projects. Bill was predeceased by his parents Norman and Ruth Wagner and by his only sibling his sister Debbie (Shawn) McDonnell. His Aunt, Dorothy Damberg, Brother-in-law, Shawn McDonnell and his two nieces Erin and Amy McDonnell plus several cousins survive Bill. Bill will be remembered as a loving son, nephew, brother and uncle who cared deeply for his family. The family will receive friends for a celebration of his life on Saturday March 4 from 1:00-2:00PM with a service to follow at Castiglione Funeral Home 544 Old Post Road #3 Greenwich, CT. Burial will be private at a later date.
