Obituary for Christina Ann Ketner (Rice)

Christina Ann Rice Ketner, 52, of Winston-Salem, passed away on February 27, 2017 at her residence. She was born on July 4, 1964 in Columbus, Ohio to Creiton and Laura Fay Connelly Rice.

Christina was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Stanleyville, NC. She loved science, technology, gaming and her rock collection.

She was preceded in death by her father, Creiton Rice and her grandfather, Carl Connelly.

She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Bobby Wayne Ketner of the home; mother, Laura Fay Boswell of Florida; grandmother, Ruth Connelly of Grayson, KY; sister, Corina Campbell of Eden; several nieces and nephews and a host of cousins.

Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2017, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, with Rev. Andy Proctor officiating.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, Gene Kiger, minister. Burial will follow in the Everman Cemetery, located on the AA Highway.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. until service time.
