Obituary for David "Dave" Goldberg

David "Dave" Goldberg
David (Dave) Goldberg was born on February 26, 1940 in Los Angeles California and passed unexpectedly on February 28, 2017 in Simi Valley, CA.

Dave spent the majority of his working career in the computer industry working for RCA, TRW, Information International and Eaton/Contel Federal Systems before slowing down to spend more time with the family that meant the world to him. His lifelong friendships and their collective love of cars saw Dave involved with the Bearing Burners Car Club and a huge fan of car racing, activities he enjoyed to the end. Dave’s greatest accomplishments are his daughters, Deborah and Jennifer, and his 4 grandchildren, which he cherished. Around Simi, he was simply known as “Grandpa Dave” to all the different schools, clubs and sports programs since he was such a strong presence in support of his grand kids.

Dave is survived by his sister, Janis and brother Jack; brother in law Yoram; daughters Deborah & Jennifer, sons in law Robert and John; nieces Lise, Shelley and Karen, nephew David and grandchildren Lindsay, Cameron, Parker & Joshua.

In lieu of flowers, Dave asked that we continue his charitable ways by donating in his name to the City of Hope or the Alzheimer’s Association.
