Charles Graham Hubley
73, Halifax, passed away on Monday March 6, 2017 in the QEII Health Sciences Center, Halifax. Born in Halifax he was the son of the late Lester and Geraldine (MacDonald) Hubley. Charles worked with ANCO Chemicals, Toronto for over 20 years. He retired to Wooden’s River Road in Seabright and lived in Melville Gardens for the past 7 years. Survived by sisters, Joan (Bruce) Rawlinson, Toronto, Ont.; Betteann Day, White Rock, B.C.; Janice (Cameron) Sleep, Tantallon; brothers, David (Janet), Milford; Robert (Jeanne), Lewis Lake; former wife and mother of his son, Sharon Jollimore, Halifax; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by, son Shane; brother, Wallace; sister-in-law Florena (Hollett) Hubley. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Charles wishes a private family service which will be held at a later date. A special thank you to the nursing home and staff at Melville Gardens. The family would also like to thank Charles’s special lady friend for her visits, loving care and concern, and the others who took the time to visit.
