Condolence From: Washington State Geocaching Association
Condolence: Longtime WSGA Cache-Cadian member DeWayne Lann, (half of LanSearch) of East Wenatchee, passed away Saturday March 4, 2017. He and his wife Sue were active members of the geocaching community. They mentored new enthusiasts, and shared their love of the outdoors with all they encountered. DeWayne was an expert driver with endless patience and a ready smile.
One sunny afternoon, while out seeking the WSGA Campout Sun Mystery Geo-art caches, I (Winos_Seattle), in my haste, managed to slam the door of the Lann-mobile on my finger. DeWayne looked at me for a moment, and then just laughed. So infectious was his laugh that I couldn't help but join him, though I was in quite a bit of pain. One fond WSGA memory with DeWayne.
