Angela P. Gorecki of Wall, passed away peacefully on Friday March 10, 2017 at her home. Angela was born in Queens New York and lived in North Caldwell before retiring to Wall Township in 1995. She was a graduate of Queens College in New York, and was a second grade teacher at the Nishuane Elementary School in Upper Montclair for many years. In later years, Angela remained active as a substitute teacher and tutor and loved working with children. She was a devoted wife to the love of her life, her husband Joseph, for almost 60 years. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother and was always happiest being in the company of her family. Angela was an accomplished classical pianist and enjoyed crafting, baking, and was an avid reader. She wintered in Naples Florida for many years and enjoyed traveling to different countries especially her Father’s native country of Italy. Angela was an active member of St. Denis Church.
Angela was predeceased by her parents Michael and Antoinette Pulito, and her husband Joseph Gorecki. She is survived by her loving daughters, Judee and her husband Bob Quinlan of Wall Township and Trish Byrnes of New Rochelle, New York, and her six grandchildren, J.P., Ryan and his wife Allie, and Christopher Quinlan, and Molly, Owen and Maeve Byrnes.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday March 16, 2017 from 4 pm to 8 pm at The Orender Family Home for Funeral, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday March 17 at 9:30 am at St. Denis Church, 90 Union Avenue, Manasquan. Entombment will be private on Saturday March 18, 2017 at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital, P.O.
