The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Joseph H. Donnelly Jr. can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Dylan

I had the privilege of spending a vital part of my youth with you, and I still look back at those days with a sense of fondness. I always admired you for your free-spirited, humorous approach to life that almost came across as care-free. But looking back now, there are probably few who cared MORE about others. I will always remember how you used to take me over to Newbury Comics and let me pick out whichever comics I wanted. And I will never forget the early morning fishing trips and the time you spent with me in the backyard at Lockland Ave trying to teach me how to cast that fishing rod. And yes...I even remember you running back into the house to hide each time I hit the neighbor's house by accident. I was just a kid and I know you didn't have to do those things, but I just want you to know that it meant a lot to me then and it still does to this day. You were a true friend and I was lucky to have you around during that period of my life. Thank you for that. So, until we meet again, pick out a nice fishing spot and save me a seat. In the meantime..."If you get confused, listen to the music play." -Grateful Dead
