Condolence: R0DNEY was my older cousin. He was a large part of my youth. I looked up to him and his sister Bonnie. It was at their home we gathered for the Holidays. The home of my Aunt Mary and Uncle Bud; Aunt Mary had the home filled with all the wonderful smells of the holidays, especially the homemade cookies and who could forget the ribbon jello salad we all looked forward to. I would hear of Rodney’s accomplishments and was very proud of him. He was so smart I was not surprised when I heard he graduated college and became a lawyer. And again I heard he is now a minister following Gods calling. What a testimony to his character, how proud I was for him. Although as adults we did not keep in touch because life gets so busy, I did keep up with him and his growing family and accomplishments through family and always felt a tug of pride. I know he is fulfilling his calling to God, but I am very saddened for his family’s loss and the loss to his community. I know he will be greatly missed. Please know my love and prayers are with all of you.

Condolence: Sending our thoughts & sincere sympathy to Rod's family. We have been following the updates provided on the CB site & we're so amazed at the strength he showed through each new challenge that he faced. His time on earth was much too short, but knowing he is at peace and in the loving hands of God makes the sadness a bit less. We both attended SHS & graduated with him. In addition, he assisted in the Baptism of our 2nd daughter in 1988 at Our Savior's in Springfield. Take care...God's Blessing to you.
