Velmer Lee Frye, age70 of McMinnville, Tennessee passed from this life on Monday, March 20, 2017, at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville, Tennessee.

Velmer was born Wednesday, February 12, 1947 in Leesburg, Virginia , he was the son of the late James Frye and the late Mammie Campbell Frye.

In addition to his parents, Velmer was preceded in death by his 5 brothers Charles Frye, Wallace Frye, Frank Frye, Robert Lee, and Big Frye, 2 sisters Lola Johnson and Gertrude Johnson

The family will have a private service at a later date.
