The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dale Esopenko can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Ken and Wendy Christiansen

Dear Rosi, Christine, Michael, Gary and family Our heart felt sympathy to you and your families on your loss. Warm memories and knowing Dale is now pain free and in a better place will comfort you in the coming days. It has been our pleasure and blessing to have had a friendship with Dale since our days at McAuley Junior High School ... more than 52 years! All of us have had childhood friends that we hoped would continue, but very few of us have had a friendship continue for that many years and when he met you Rosi, he cemented the friendship to continue for that long. Our sorrow can only be surpassed by our memories of a lifetime friendship ... Edmonton Eskimos games, card games, camping and fishing trips, boys poker nights, children, grandchildren and endless stories of the good old days. Dale had an amazing love for his family and loyalty to his friends. He was always there to support and comfort those close to him and his kindness was overwhelming; we will all miss him dearly. We will cherish our memories of all the good times and continue our friendship with love and strength and courage as he would have wanted ... we will always be here for you and your family. All our love Ken and Wendy
