The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Albert Chapple can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Randy,Gary,Susan & families
My heart felt condolences to all of you.
Some of my earliest and fondest childhood memories are of my Uncle Albert at his gas station on Upper James. Ones that I will remember always.Brother Greg & I would go for haircuts at Hank's Barber Shop in Granddad's old house across the street and then go to the station and be entertained by Albert and the cast of characters he had around the place. There always seemed to be something going on to captivate a young kid's mind. He always had a smile and a laugh for us. I'm sure you have many cherished memories also.

Condolence: I worked with Abe in the Bowmanville office many years ago. Abe and his sidekick Boyd introduced me to government employment in the 1980s. Abe was a pleasure to work with and dutifully did his job inspecting fruits and vegetables for the federal government. Boyd regularly tried to get Abe to go for a drink at the Bowmanville Marina after work. I can still hear Boyd saying, "How about it, Abe? Just one!"

Condolence: Very sorry to hear about Albert. He was a great guy who will be sadly missed by his many friends @ Tim Horton's. He truly enjoyed his morning coffee, all the kidding around and telling stories from his younger days. We were fellow Blue Jay, Maple Leaf and Tiger Cat fans so it was easy to strike up a conversation about sports. We will miss but never forget him.
