SPARANO, Benjamin A., age 80, of Garfield, died on March 26, 2017. Born in Jersey City, he was raised in Rutherford settling in Garfield 29 years ago. He was a salesman with Quality Gutter in East Rutherford before retiring, a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church in Garfield, and a Marine Corps Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Kim (nee Cerepak), two children, Sara Sparano and Joshua Sparano, his son-in-law, Salvatore Alaimo, a granddaughter, Miah Alaimo, and a sister, Pauline Gentile. He is predeceased by his son, Benjamin M. Sparano in 2015, and a sister, Marie Francke. The visiting and funeral are Wednesday, March 29, 2017, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 11:00 am followed by a 2:00 pm chapel service. Interment Lodi Cemetery, Lodi.
